Ananda Mukerji
Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer
Ananda Mukerji has been the CEO of Firstsource Solutions since inception in January 2002. Under his leadership, Firstsource has risen to be among the top five Indian pure-play BPO companies providing a wide range of customized solutions for clients in financial services, telecoms and media and healthcare.
Ananda began his career with ICICI, today India’s largest private sector bank. His over 17 years experience in finance covers project finance, corporate finance and investment banking. He has also been instrumental in setting up and/or managing a number of new businesses for the ICICI group including the infrastructure, structured finance and advisory businesses. He has also been CFO of Enron India Limited and Group CFO of BPL Communications Ltd.
Ananda has a Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) from the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Calcutta and a graduate degree from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kharagpur.

Raju Venkatraman
Joint Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer
Raju Venkatraman has over 20 years of experience in the field of technology outsourcing. He began his career at EDS where he spearheaded the applications outsourcing business (now called BPO) in a variety of verticals including healthcare, manufacturing and the US Federal government. In 1991, he launched Vetri Systems, an offshore outsourcing company. Scaling his original company to nearly 4,000 employees/contractors, he sold it to Lason. Incorporated in 1998, he served as the President of Data Management Services at Lason and was responsible for more than 7,500 employees and US$85 million in revenue. In early 2002, he set up RevIT Systems, a Chennai based BPO in the healthcare and print & publishing space that was acquired by Firstsource in April 2005. He was named amongst the "Top 75 Indian Entrepreneurs in America for the Year 2000" by Business India magazine.
Raju has an Executive MBA from the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Ahmedabad and a graduate degree in chemical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Chennai.

Rajesh Subramaniam
Chief Financial Officer
Rajesh Subramaniam has 12 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions, long-term funding, structuring and alliances. Prior to joining Firstsource, he was the Vice President of Investments at GIV, a US$140 million venture capital fund based out of Northern Virginia. He was based out of Bangalore and then Santa Clara. Prior to GIV, he was with Ernst & Young and KPMG where he was in the lead advisory division, handling mergers and acquisitions and corporate finance. He started his career as an investment analyst with the Pioneer ITI Mutual Fund (subsequently acquired by Franklin Templeton).
Rajesh has an MBA from the Richmond College, London and a graduate degree in commerce, accounting and economics from Madras University.

Aashu Calapa
Executive Vice President, Human Resources
Aashu Calapa has over 17 years of experience in the human resources function. During his tenure at Firstsource, Aashu has spearheaded the company’s growth from 1000 employees to 17000 employees globally. Prior to Firstsource, Aashu has worked with Wipro Infotech, one of India's leading IT companies, heading the human resources activities.
Aashu holds a Master's degree in Personnel Management & Industrial Relations from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS).

Sanjiv Dalal
Chief Technology Officer
Sanjiv Dalal has over 20 years of IT experience in the areas of technology, customized technology solutions and IT infrastructure. As CTO, Sanjiv is the architect of Firstsource’s Technology strategy. Under Sanjiv's leadership, Firstsource (then ICICI OneSource) became India's first BPO company to benchmark its security practices with global security standards. In 2007, Firstsource joined the league of a handful global companies that have adopted the Virtual Infrastructure Technology - use of virtual desktop technology and use of remote desktop support.
Prior to joining Firstsource, Sanjiv was the founder and CTO of Customer Asset, one of the early BPO companies in India. He was also a founder and CEO of Zyfax, a CRM software company headquartered in Mumbai, which developed Customer Leverage, the software solution on which Firstsource offers its customer management services. His previous work experience includes telecom consulting and a stint with the civil services.
Sanjiv has a graduate degree from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Mumbai.

Matthew Vallance
Global Head, Business Development
Matthew Vallance has 15 years of experience in the sales and marketing of technology products and services in the UK, mainland Europe and Asia. Since the inception of Firstsource, he has built an experienced team in the UK who engage with clients from conceptualization through to the delivery of their offshore strategy. Prior to this, he set up and ran InCode, a consulting business helping UK companies outsource IT services to India. Before forming InCode, he was head of the Indian subsidiary of Text 100 Plc, a FTSE-listed global technology PR consultancy. Companies including Microsoft, British Telecom and Compaq retained Text 100 India.
Matthew holds a Diploma in Marketing from the Chartered Institute of Marketing and a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) degree in European Business Studies from the Buckinghamshire Business School.

Rahul Basu
Executive Vice President, Collections
Rahul Basu has over 16 years of experience in corporate finance and strategy, mergers and acquisitions and infrastructure project finance. He began his career with ICICI, today India’s largest private sector bank, and has worked in the treasury, borrowing and corporate strategy development functions as well as in financing infrastructure projects. Rahul joined Firstsource as the Chief Financial Officer. Prior to joining Firstsource, Rahul spent four years in Enron India where he was responsible for finance and mergers and acquisitions and was the CEO of Broadband Solutions Private Limited, Enron India's data center subsidiary.
Rahul has a Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) from the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Ahmedabad and a graduate degree in Arts (Honours) in economics from Shriram College of Commerce, Delhi University.

Tony Pino
Executive Vice President, Healthcare
Anthony (Tony) Pino has over 35 years of experience in the healthcare industry. He was the President and Chief Executive Officer of MedPlans Partners which was acquired by Firstsource in January 2007. Prior to this, he held executive level positions with The Ceres Group, Pioneer Financial Services, National Health Services and the American Postal Workers Union Health Plan. He has also held supervisor, manager and director level positions at the Washington D.C., Maryland and New York City Blue Cross Blue Shield Plans. In these positions, he has successfully directed and/ or provided oversight for the complete spectrum of health insurance, managed care and utilization review functions.
Tony holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.

Santanu Nandi
Executive Vice President, Operations
Santanu Nandi has over 16 years of experience in various industries including the contact center and BPO, consumer finance, engineering and IT.
Santanu has been associated with the BPO industry since inception and has worked with global leaders like Accenture, Convergys, GE Capital and Godrej & Boyce leading projects for clients in the UK, USA, Australia and India. He was part of the customer contact center in Accenture and was responsible for aggressively growing the business. Prior to joining Accenture, he led the operations team at Convergys and was responsible for setting up Service Management for Convergys in India. He also led Business Transition and Operations for the contact center of GE Capital International Service in India.

Chandeep Singh
Senior Vice President, Process Excellence
Chandeep Singh has 13 years of experience during which he has helped implement TQM & ISO 9000 in various industries including automobile, processing & telecom and delivered QNI (Quality Net Income) worth $4.0 mn from Six Sigma projects.
Prior to joining Firstsource, he drove global metrics across BPO and call center operations as Director, Global Re-engineering Six Sigma in American Express. In General Electric (GE), he led the integration of Six Sigma with software systems compliant with CMMI level 5. Among other significant achievements, he used the DFSS approach to migrate and set-up GE's 1000 employee strong, finance and back-office operations in Dalian, China.
Chandeep holds a Master's degree in industrial engineering from the University of South Florida and a graduate degree in industrial engineering from the Thapar Institute in Patiala. He is also lead auditor accredited from Cranfield University and a certified Master Black Belt from General Electric.

Chandra Iyer
Senior Vice President & Head APAC
Chandra Iyer has over 27 years of work experience and currently heads the APAC business at Firstsource. Prior to joining Firstsource, Chandra has worked within ICICI, today India’s largest private sector bank, as well as with ANZ Grindlays Bank and Standard Chartered Bank.
She has held several senior positions and managed numerous international and domestic business functions and projects in banking, technology, servicing and outsourcing.
Chandra has a Masters degree in commerce and a management qualification in finance.

Sanjeev Sinha
Senior Vice President, Operations
Sanjeev Sinha has over 15 years of experience in diverse fields such as teaching, IT and business consulting, production and marketing. Prior to Firstsource, he worked for Sony Electronics, BISIL, IBM Global Services and i2 Technologies in the US, and for Castrol and Tata Steel in India.
Sanjeev has a PhD in business administration from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, a Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) from the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Ahmedabad and a graduate degree in mechanical engineering from Birla Institute of Technology, Ranchi.

Atul Mehra
Vice President, Marketing
Atul Mehra has an extensive background in both business to business and consumer marketing in the United States. Before Firstsource, he managed global marketing for the Retail and Transport and Services (TNS) business units at Infosys. He has worked with Fortune 500 companies including MasterCard International and Avis. At MasterCard, he held several responsibilities including Purchasing and Fleet Cards marketing, consumer card product and strategy development and managing the global launch of Total Customer View, a business intelligence product. At Avis he was responsible for successfully repositioning and refreshing the brand image behind the "We Try Harder" slogan.
He has also worked at several global advertising agencies in New York. During stints at Saatchi & Saatchi, Grey and Lowe Lintas, he managed packaged good accounts including Nabisco, P&G, Schering Plough and Johnson & Johnson.
Atul has degrees in economics from NY and India.

John Ardy
Executive Vice President, Operations
John has over 15 years experience with Countrywide Financial Corporation and Deloitte Consulting Group. He is the author of a customized version of Lean Six Sigma called ‘Faster’. He taught over 1500 Black Belts and implemented a culture of continuous improvement while leading Countrywide’s process excellence program. John is also a frequent keynote speaker at Industry and Six Sigma conferences in the U.S.
Prior to joining Firstsource, John was Managing Director and Chief Operations Officer of Countrywide’s information technology unit, supervising around 2000 employees , across the US and India. His experience spans Process Excellence, HR, Finance, Strategic Planning, Risk Management and Major Systems Project Programs.
John has an MBA from the University of Southern California and a BA in Economics from Columbia University.

Michael A. Shea
President and Chief Executive Officer, MedAssist
Michael founded MedAssist in 1989 and has been the driving force behind the vision and growth of the company. His vision of "Bridging the Gap" between health care delivery and reimbursement, with a focus on patient advocacy, helped pioneer the acceptance of eligibility outsourcing nationally in the US.
Michael has been the CEO of MedAssist since inception and has led numerous acquisitions and successful integrations over the last 19 years. He is responsible for the strategic plan of the company which includes all product lines, key personnel and overall direction. In 2003, Michael was the recipient of the Ernst & Young Midwest Entrepreneur of the year award for Healthcare. In 2005 and 2007, Michael has also been the recipient of one of the most influential Healthcare Leaders in the Louisville, Kentucky area by Business First.
Michael attended the Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio.
